yep i died, yep my domain expired, somehow i'm lucky enough that sony didn't buy it for their streaming service in my absence.

so now here i am, right where you could always find me at ultraviolet.im! or, perhaps you're here at ultraviiolet.xyz :3 see, after years of walking around with a brass 7 tag hanging off my collar, i finally figured out that i'm vii. pronounced the same as always, i just had to put the roman numeral for 7 where it obviously belongs in my name. oh and while i have a lot in common with her, now including having externally installed metal in my body, i'm not seven of nine. i'm seven of thirteen!

this is just my temporary site, dynadot now offers free hosting with the usual crappy website builder hosting services offer... in exchange for forcing you to have that damn "powered by dynadot" footer that you can't customise in any way. they want you to pay more to get rid of that of course. i'm not trying to shill for my registrar, i just bought the domains so i figured i may as well put something here! the html this thing generates is absolute spaghetti compared to what i can write myself but whatevs ;3

my proper site will of course be back, complete with saturn fsm. i rely on that myself y'know! i also intend to return to self-hosting, i just need to play with my various computers to get back to that. for now, you can suffer through the annoyingly contrasting advertisement down there ;_; it almost certainly bothers me more. that said, it is much more reasonable than most of the things companies demand in exchange for giving you something for "free". oh and appaarently they only let you host one page without paying, not surprising... so until i get my own hosting back up, enjoy the wall of text!

oh, do you not know anything about me? i'm a tiny purple cat. i'm also transgender, mtf, and i'm amenable to she/her, they/them, or it/its pronouns. ideally she/her but any of those is fine. i'm actually remarkably non-binary but i would prefer if my body had different chromosomes.

i love to build, modify, and repair literally anything i can, but especially fun things. if you have something broken i want to fix it for you. if you have a piece of tech you don't want, please give it to me. if you have a dead "disposable" vape, i want to disassemble it and harvest its guts. i have a box containing somewhere between 50 and 100 free lithium-ion batteries i got that way, and i love to convert anything that runs on 3 conventional 1.5v batteries to rechargeable with them. i've also converted a couple things that aren't terribly sensitive to overvoltage and originally ran on 2!

i collect saturns, 1991-2002 s-series which are the only cars other than the (also a saturn) ev1 to use the gm z platform. my objective is to obtain one of every year the s-series was made. that leaves me needing a '91, a '92, an '01, an '02, and a *third* '96. after crashing both of the two i've previously had, both of them gold in stock form, i am *not* getting a gold one this time. how crazy is it that i'm a '96 too? i think the universe is trying to tell me something. anyway! i've done new fluorescent lighting installations here in the 2020s, i love to replace any light bulb that burns out, and i have custom-designed and built an led retrofit for a prominent sign that used to be neon (behind lenses). hundreds of thousands of people have seen it! while i'm on the subject, i have repaired numerous cotton candy and popcorn machines, from completely dead to fully functional. i can disassemble, clean, reassemble, and sanitise an ice cream machine very quickly.

i've also done numerous engine and/or transmission swaps completely on my own, having learned from 2 different master techs. i'm a professional electrician thanks to my brother teaching me everything he was learning when he was in school for it. i specialise in rectifying (haha if you get why that's funny i want to meet you) incredibly janky wiring jobs that were done by someone who is very much not an electrician, usually in old buildings. i'm also quite good at plumbing, having completely re-plumbed numerous things either out of necessity or personal interest. to summarise, if you need something fixed i'm very likely qualified to repair it.

i'm also an abstract artist, i pretty much just pick up a drawing utensil and start drawing weird squiggly lines and random shapes. i have filled the entirety of my first sketchbook and i have several others as well. when my original site returns i'll have more of my art on it but for now here's an example:
